蕭萬長盼 推台美TPP小組

前副總統蕭萬長今天表示，已經向美國提出希望循台灣加入世界貿易組織（WTO）入會模式，建立台美跨太平洋夥伴協定（TPP）資訊小組，以利台灣進行加入TPP準備。

蕭萬長帶領台灣企業領袖訪問華府，他今天表示，台灣在很多國際場合缺席，但貿易是台灣經濟成長引擎，推動經貿自由化是要走的路。蕭萬長指出，台灣在二○○二年正式成為WTO會員後，十一年來自由化步伐都慢，讓外國看起來台灣有需要再加強努力的空間。
