歐巴馬：政府關門人民受害「令人心痛」

【林奐成╱綜合外電報導】美國總統歐巴馬今天發表談話，表示聯邦政府關門對一般民眾造成「令人心痛的影響」，並再次呼籲國會的共和黨議員，立刻結束為期5天的政治僵局，無條件通過臨時預算案。
 
歐巴馬在每週固定談話時表示，聯邦政府停擺對人民生活造成影響，有些人無法獲得政府部門的服務，甚至是暫時失去了工作。他說，過去幾天來收到超過3萬封「令人心痛」的陳情信件，他相信共和黨人也已聽聞類似的陳情。這顯示，歐巴馬試圖對共和黨「動之以情」，要對方重視民眾的感受。
 
路透報導，眾議院共和黨人堅持拒絕通過臨時預算案，除非民主黨同意延後實施俗稱「歐巴馬健保」（Obamacare）的法令。
