世姐選美決賽「不可能」在峇里島舉行

世界小姐選美大賽主辦單位今天(10日)表示，「不可能」在峇里島舉辦決賽，並決心向印尼當局聲請將決賽移回爪哇(Java)；先前比賽才因激進穆斯林團體抗議，從茂物(Bogor)移師到峇里島(Bali)。

由於數百名抗議民眾上街要求中止9月28日的選美比賽，主辦單位表示，希望本週能說服印尼官方改變決定，將決賽從度假勝地峇里島再移回原地點。

主辦單位執行長普特拉(Nana Putra)告訴法新社，「民眾應該可以理解，把整個比賽搬到峇里島會有多麼麻煩。他們光處理亞太經合會的場地和住宿問題就忙不過來了。」

她說，當局未徵詢主辦單位意見就逕行更換比賽場地，希望本週能和當局開會協調，但尚未敲定時間。

比賽後半段原先預定在首都雅加達及其近郊舉行；然而，普特拉堅稱並不打算取消之後幾回合的比賽和決賽，並表示若有需要仍有備用場地可以使用，不過，她未透露進一步細節。

印尼當局7日表示，8日開幕、為期3週的世界小姐選美比賽將在峇里島舉辦；強硬派的激進份子連日抗議，抨擊該選美既「色情」又「齷齰」。
