明年元旦起 輪胎胎紋深度納定檢項目

有鑑於輪胎胎紋深度不足是造成爆胎的重要肇因，交通部路政司今天(10日)表示，預定明年1月1日起，將輪胎胎紋深度納入申請牌照檢驗及定期檢驗項目，並以各類車輛胎紋深度是否已磨耗至胎面磨耗指示點作為檢驗標準。

交通部表示，未來汽車於定期檢驗時，若因胎紋深度檢驗不合格，公路監理機關依規定責令於1個月內完成輪胎更換並申請覆驗。若覆驗仍不合格，將依「道路交通管理處罰條例」吊扣牌照。

交通部指出，現行各類車輛的輪胎均有標示胎面磨耗指示點，輪胎胎面如磨耗至該指示點時，即為輪胎胎紋深度不足1.6公釐，應立即更換輪胎。

交通部呼籲所有汽車駕駛人定期檢查車輛輪胎狀況，以保障自己及他人生命安全。
