白沙岬等2燈塔　今免費開放

【陳如嬌／台北報導】交通部航港局今宣布，桃園白沙岬和台東綠島2座燈塔今天起開放觀光，每天上午9時30分至下午5時，民眾可免費參觀，周一則休館。未來3年內，將陸續開放彰化芳苑、台中高美、新北市鼻頭角、富貴角、花蓮奇萊鼻等5座燈塔。

今天開放觀光的白沙岬燈塔位在桃園觀音鄉白沙岬上，1901年完工開燈，白色圓型塔身，造型特殊，至今已有百年歷史，已被桃園縣政府指定為縣定古蹟。綠島燈塔則是在1929年完工發光，啟用迄今已80餘年，歷經多次強震、颱風仍堅固如初。

觀光局表示，配合燈塔開放觀光，今年「台灣自行車節」將針對幾個指標性燈塔舉辦環島活動。台灣共有35座燈塔，除今天開放參觀的白沙岬和綠島燈塔外，目前已開放民眾自由參觀的燈塔有11座，預定至2017年，全台將有18座燈塔開放觀光。
