展現索罕盃全勝氣勢，瑞典選手Caroline Hedwall急起直追，與挪威的Suzann Pettersen從原本的第十五名一路爬升，最後獨自坐上領先者寶座。
Hedwall是索罕盃史上第一位單屆賽事5戰全勝的選手，也順利幫歐洲隊完成衛冕，並取得隊史在美國境內的首場勝利。
與Pettersen從並列第十二展開第三輪，兩人前9洞都抓下4鳥，但Hedwall吞下1個柏忌，落後索罕盃隊友1桿。
來到後9洞，兩人都在第十二洞抓鳥，不過Pettersen下一洞發生柏忌，跟著第十四洞抓鳥，總桿數來到-9，而Hedwall則在第十四、第十五洞連續抓鳥，以-10甩開Pettersen。
Hedwall繳出平球場紀錄的64桿，Pettersen為65桿，讓Hedwall以200桿獨居領先，Pettersen則與高寶璟以1桿之差在後緊追。
第三年打LPGA巡迴賽的Hedwall，歐巡賽與澳巡賽共拿8座冠軍，但從沒在LPGA巡迴賽奪冠，這次替自己製造了大好機會。
「現在我在期待自己在LPGA的第一場勝利，我期待著明天。」Hedwall說，在最後一組出發相當競爭，也相當有趣。
