在截至6月30日的這一財季，directv的凈利潤為6.6億美元，每股收益1.18美元，這一業績不及去年同期，也不及分析師此前預期。2012財年第二季度，directv的凈利潤為7.11億美元，每股收益1.09美元。directv第二季度業績中計入了與分拆一個體育網絡相關的5900萬 美元支出，去年同期業績中計入了與提前清償債務有關的6400萬美元損失。湯森路透調查顯示，分析師平均預期directv第二季度每股收益為1.33美元。
