美國經濟諮商理事會(The Conference Board)18日公布，美國6月份領先指標(LEI)為95.3(2004年基期=100)，與前期持平，但較彭博社預估中間值低0.2%，顯示下半年美國經濟加速仍有待時間醞釀。4、5月LEI分別月增0.8%與月增0.2%。

經濟諮商理事會經濟學家Ataman Ozyildirim指出，營建許可、新接訂單、股價等數據下滑抵銷消費者預期、初領失業救濟金人數等數據改善，是6月LEI停滯不前的主因。

另一名經濟學家Ken Goldstein表示，某些經濟部門改善幅度領先其它產業，但最大不確定因素仍就是企業投資、消費者實質購買力，以及全球成長放緩對美國出口的衝擊。

其它數據顯示，6月份同步指標上揚0.2%(前月增0.2%)至105.9；落後指標月增0.3%至118.6(前月增0.4%)。
