斥資26億元打造的台中市議政大樓，因蘇力颱風侵襲出現漏水危機。台中市長建設局長沐桂新今（15）日表示，未來市府將委託公正第三方進行調查，若涉及責任追究，市長胡志強也指示會依法進行。
今年一月才啟用的台中市議政大樓，在蘇力颱風侵襲後，正副議長室全部積水，天花板也多數坍塌；盡管建設局初步研判，是空中花園積水惹的禍，但上午市政會議上，胡志強還是要求各單位要查明原因，此外，也要檢視大樓的結構安全。
沐桂新表示，由於議政大樓是由建設局負責，未來會委託公正第三方調查事件發生原因及責任，若涉及事後責任追究，建設局會妥善進行。至於安全問題上，由於議事廳是鋼架建築，目前研判應該沒有安全結構上的問題。
至於損壞的部分，包括大樓內的機電設備，市府都已經完成檢查作業、水管也已經疏通，剩下一些音響設備，則因為受潮需要維修。
根據建設局說法，本次漏水危機主要是頂樓的空中花園排水系統出了狀況，由於13日短短3個小時就下了90毫米雨量，雨水在溢滿了之後，才會沿著議政大廳與各單位的照明設備宣洩而下。
