南韓保健福祉部表示，依據南韓國民健康增進法2011年修正案規定，按照餐飲店面積大小逐步實現禁菸。從明年1月1日起，餐廳、咖啡廳、酒吧、網吧等公共場所一律禁止吸菸。

南韓「朝鮮日報」報導，從明年起，包括酒吧在內的所有普通餐廳（60萬餘處）無論面積大小都將禁菸。

報導指出，南韓保健福祉部健康增進課表示，從明年起，如果在餐廳等禁菸區吸菸，將被罰款10萬韓元（約90.75美元）。另外，根據「香菸事業法」、「國民健康增進法」規定，電子菸也屬於菸草類，在禁菸區域吸食也將面臨同樣罰款。

據報導，從明年起，在南韓全國各大咖啡店、網吧、酒吧等公共場所內設置的「吸菸室」也將消失。

從明年起，繼續設置「吸菸室」被發現，業主將被罰款170萬韓幣（約1542.65美元）。

如確有需要，可單獨開設吸菸室，但必須是完全密閉的空間，並配有專業的換氣裝置；室內除放置吸菸必需物品外，不得擺放桌椅，也不得販賣飲料。(中央社)
