中華職棒23日在台中洲際棒球場進行第5戰，1局下Lamigo桃猿二壘手郭嚴文守備失誤，中信兄弟攻下2分，1局結束，兄弟3比0領先桃猿。

中信兄弟先發投手江忠城1局上讓桃猿隊三上三下，兄弟1局下兩出局後，周思齊獲保送，彭政閔敲安打，林威助也獲保送，滿壘，此時桃猿先發投手泰霸右手姆指受傷，接受治療後，繼續投，黃仕豪擊出二壘方向軟弱滾地球，二壘手郭嚴文守備失誤，兄弟攻得2分。

泰霸再保送陳家駒，又滿壘，桃猿決定換下泰霸，由曾兆豪接替投球。曾兆豪觸身球保送陳偉漢，送給兄弟第3分。
