（中央社勒克瑙22日綜合外電報導）印度警方今天表示，印度東部一名少女外出小解時，遭4名男子縱火攻擊，送醫後不治。

這名少女據信僅17歲，她的家人告訴警方，她20日晚間外出小解時遇襲。她的住家位於北方省（UttarPradesh），跟印度多數地區一樣，沒有廁所。

這名女孩是來自印度地位最低的賤民。警官表示，她在使用手機後曾遭到同村的攻擊者騷擾，這些男子認為使用手機不檢點。

少女家屬告訴警方，女孩聽到這些男子指示她停止使用手機後曾回嘴。

當地警官喬拉西亞（Akhilesh Chaurasiya）說：「女孩的父親指控（一名男子）穆克什（Mukesh）與另3人，於他的女兒外出小解時縱火燒死她。 」

這名女孩送醫治療，但她在奧賴耶村（Auraiya）遭遇攻擊時傷勢嚴重，昨天不治。奧賴耶村距北方省首府勒克瑙（Lucknow）約160公里。

喬拉西亞表示，已初步將4名男子列為刑事案件嫌犯，他們也是賤民。他說，這群男子的帶頭者已逃出村莊。(中央社)
