由於菲律賓反對中國呼聲高漲，很多大陸旅行社擔心遊客安全，紛紛取消赴菲旅行團。

德通社說，由於領海主權紛爭，菲律賓民間反中呼聲持續高漲，最近3名菲律賓人，意圖在中國使館、馬尼拉機場和一個華人商場製造爆炸，被警方逮捕；還有一名華人遭綁架。在這種情況下，大陸外交部發佈旅遊警訊，表示菲國安全情況惡化，呼籲大陸人，避免前往菲律賓。

報導說，一些大陸旅行社取消菲律賓行程，建議民眾挑選替代行程，例如前往印尼、泰國、柬埔寨。

報導還說，菲律賓注意到大陸外交部發出的旅遊警訊。菲國外交部發言人說，菲律賓已經採取適當措施，確保遊客安全。
