Rangers president of baseball operations and general manager Jon Daniels issued the following statement: "Ron Washington informed us today that he has chosen to resign as Rangers manager in order to turn his full attention to addressing an off-the-field personal matter. Out of respect for Ron's privacy, the Rangers will leave any comment on the details to him. 簡短翻譯：德州遊騎兵總教練華盛頓因個人因素請辭，由板凳教練Bogar暫代至球季結束 心得：這位球員心目中很有swag，條子迷心中很OOXX的總教練，終於在條子新一波六連敗 後下台，不過今年條子戰績零零落落，主要也歸咎於傷兵太多（Kinsler怨念？） 當然華總本身的調度一向很有爭議（很喜歡偷投手局數、匪夷所思的調度...） 隨著這位曾在Moneyball中短暫亮相（當年運動家隊的教練團成員），且具有 濃厚個人魅力與特色（曾自爆吸食過古柯鹼、球員比賽衝壘時自己也會在休息室 手舞足蹈）的總教練的離去，條子在今年球季末是否能順利擺脫墊底，或者明年 有著一番新氣象（當然也得看傷兵們是否健康歸隊）？值得觀察 -- May the force be with you
