「2014高雄魷魚季」今天登場，活動到7月底，市府與多家餐廳合作推出魷魚料理和伴手禮，魷魚公會說今年豐收，價格持平，歡迎民眾到旗津品嚐。

前幾年魷魚捕獲量大減，不僅魷魚價格節節上漲，魷魚羹、烤魷魚分量都縮水；不過台灣區魷魚公會說今年豐收，價格持平，正是大啖魷魚的好時機。

台灣區魷魚公會理事長施教民指出，今年魷魚豐收，魷釣漁獲量約有20萬噸，估計有逾新台幣70億元的產值。

高市府鼓勵民眾多吃魷魚，今天在旗津區舉辦魷魚季，還介紹魷魚的料理方法，包括火烤魷魚、魷魚粽、清燙魷魚等，果然超人氣，不少民眾排隊索取烤魷魚兌換券，現場熱鬧滾滾。

陳菊推銷魷魚有豐富的蛋白質、低脂，是很好的海鮮佳餚，高雄市配合魷魚盛產舉辦魷魚季，還結合日本料理店和餐廳，以「魷好商店」為標章，供應優質魷魚料理和伴手禮等。

魷魚產地主要在西南大西洋，即阿根廷一帶，高雄市有逾百艘的魷魚釣船，每年1月到6月是魷魚捕撈期，魷魚公會說，今年的漁獲量約20萬公噸，是前兩年的3倍產量，鼓勵民眾吃當季，品嚐魷魚的鮮美好滋味。(中央社)
