（中央社德州胡德堡3日綜合外電報導）美國德州胡德堡（Fort Hood）陸軍基地指揮官麥利中將今天表示，昨天涉嫌在基地內開槍濫殺造成3死16傷的的士兵是34歲的羅培茲，來自波多黎各，他受困精神疾病。

麥利（Mark Milley）告訴記者，羅培茲（IvanLopez）犯案動機還不明，但他的醫療紀錄顯示，他的心理狀況不穩定，而且有強烈跡象顯示，他在槍擊事件前與其他士兵爭吵，軍方正在調查。

不過，他說，沒有跡象顯示羅培茲這次攻擊鎖定任何特定對象。凶嫌犯案後對自己的頭部開槍自殺。

美國陸軍部長麥克修（John McHugh）稍早表示，凶嫌曾接受過精神病治療，但並未顯現任何暴力或自殺傾向的跡象。

麥克修說，這名士兵在2008年從軍，曾2次派赴海外，包括2011年調派伊拉克4個月。他並未直接參與作戰或受過傷。

胡德堡軍事基地訓練眾多準備派駐伊拉克和阿富汗的士兵。這座基地2009年也曾爆發槍擊濫殺案，前精神科軍醫哈山（Nidal Hasan）少校槍殺13人並導致另外32人受傷。哈山已遭定罪，將接受注毒處死。(中央社)
