本報訊

吳姓男子今天在基隆駕駛貨車，涉嫌肇事後逃逸，被害腳踏車騎士送醫不治。基隆警方下午循線，逮捕吳男詢問後，移送檢方。

基隆市警察局第二分局晚間表示，八斗子分駐所員警清晨巡邏時，在轄區漁港二街附近海洋科技博物館前，發現杜姓男子倒臥路旁，現場腳踏車嚴重扭曲變形，杜男送醫急救後不治。

警方現場勘察採證後，初步研判疑似為肇事逃逸案件；偵查隊、八斗子分駐所成立專案小組，訪查附近車輛，調閱基隆區漁會所設置監視器，鎖定涉案車輛。

警方說，下午約3時，鎖定疑肇事逃逸的白色貨車，動用所有警力，傍晚在新北市萬里區，將吳姓嫌疑人查緝到案，並查扣肇事車輛。

鑑識人員進一步採證，吳男到案後，坦承肇事逃逸，警方將全案報請基隆地檢署偵辦。(中央社)
