CHT要求更換modem (DSL-6641K -> P-870HA)，我該答應他們嗎?

my ISP : Seednet 60m/15m

原本網路都用得好好的，今天中華電信突然打給我說要換我的modem
把DSL-6641K換成P-870HA
工班人員說因為同社區有人申裝100m的網路，我如果沒換的話，速度可能會跑不上去
因為要上班的關係，所以中華電信的人把modem交代給守衛，要我自行更換

老實說，我不太懂為什麼會這樣，
而且我原本的modem(DSL-6641K似乎比較新款，上面註明民國100年交貨)
他們今天拿來的P-870HA髒髒舊舊的，而且是民國98年交貨的機子

他們說"沒換的話，速度可能會跑不上去"是真的嗎?
P-870HA真的會比DSL-6641K來得好嗎?

請大大們解惑，謝謝!
