黑豹旗冠軍戰上演桃園內戰，平鎮以13：1輕取桃農，對於這樣的結果，平鎮也感到意外，但也因為這個冠軍，讓他們瞄準冠軍版圖中獨缺的高中聯賽木棒組王座。

平鎮高中總教練吳柏宏表示，冠軍戰出現這種情形，真的是意想不到的結果，「其實我們前兩場打擊表現不好，這一場都有發揮出來。」

他並提到，平鎮對冠軍戰經驗較對手豐富，「我們冠軍戰經驗較為足夠，我想就是這兩點讓我們能贏球。」

吳柏宏也說，前兩場表現不好，但教練團以鼓勵的方式激勵球員們，先發投手黃逸鑫表現也不錯，「第一局幫他打7分讓他吃定心丸，被敲安打的傷害也不大。」

2013年拿了數個冠軍的平鎮，球隊冠軍拼圖就缺木棒組冠軍，吳柏宏也說：「真的就差一個木棒組，希望今年會有機會。」
