經歷了去年大幅的漲勢後，美國股市年初溫和走低。周二，美國指數期貨小幅走高，但投資人態度謹慎，等待本周稍後的關鍵經濟數據。

台北時間21:30 美國將公布貿易赤字。但更重要的消息將於周三與周五公布，包括就業報告與Fed於2013年舉行最後一次會議的會議記錄。

就業市場情況將決定由新主席葉倫領導的聯準會，減碼購債計劃的速度。

大多分析師相信，央行於今年將逐步減碼購債，並於2014年底結束購債計劃。

企業消息方面，三星(Samsung Electronics)(SSNLF-US)股價小幅走低。該公司宣布，由於智慧型手機市場競爭加劇，營業獲利將受到衝擊。

周一，美國股市下跌。自2014年年初以來，股市表現乏善可陳。

歐洲股市今早均上漲約0.3%。

亞洲股市周二未出現大幅走勢，收盤錯綜。
