Sony 繼推出 VAIO Flip 15、14 和 13 吋的版本之外，再推出一個型號為 Flip 11A 的 11 吋版本也不太出奇吧？跟它的前輩們一樣，11A 有一個 1080p 的可翻轉螢幕，同樣配備了 Sony Triluminos 顏色處理技術。如果跟該公司同尺寸的 VAIO Tap 11 比較的話，其實可以找到很多相同之處，它們都有 800 萬像素的相機鏡頭配 Exmor 技術以及 800 美金的起步價格。

Flip 11A 的最基本規格包括一個四核的 Pentium 處理器，加點錢則可以升上第四代的 Intel Core 處理器。不同的當然是，Flip 11A 可以變成平板之餘，也有一個鍵盤，據主站指出在上面打字的感覺比 Sony Tap 11 的無線鍵盤好。它將會在二月的某天在美國上市。

另外，Sony 宣佈以後所有新出廠的 VAIO Flip 13、14、15、Tap 11、Tap 21、Duo 13、Fit 14E 和 15E 都將會預載 Windows 8.1 以及 Adobe Photoshop Elements 12。 最後，Pro 11、13 和 Tap 21 都將會被升級至配備較快的 802.11ac Wi-Fi。
