學生瓦斯中毒 嘉大表遺憾協助後事

國立嘉義大學有六名學生在外合租房子，卻發生一氧化碳中毒悲劇，造成其中五人二死三傷。嘉義大學校方得知不幸消息後，立即在第一時間採取緊急應變措施，除派員醫院協助中毒學生就醫，也逐一通知死傷學生家長趕往處理。

國立嘉義大學表示，中毒昏迷的三名學生，經過醫治後已經清醒，雖然不是都能下床走動，但已經沒有生命危險。校方另外也指派校安人員協助死亡學生的家屬處理後事。

嘉義大學強調，校方平時都有做學生在外租賃安全訪視與安全講習，沒想到還是發生悲劇，整起事件令人遺憾，學校一定會盡力協助後續事宜，並加強學生租屋安全防護。
