菲律賓迎新年 煙火炸傷164人

【大紀元12月28日報導】（中央社馬尼拉28日法新電）菲律賓政府今天表示，菲國民眾準備迎接新年之際，有164人遭煙火炸傷。

衛生部助理部長泰雅戈（Eric Tayag）說，受傷最重的是失去右手的14歲男孩，和1顆眼球破裂的老年男性。

他在推特（Twitter）表示，1名5歲男童玩煙火時炸斷了右手食指。

菲律賓擁有1億人口，傳統上喜歡製造噪音過新年，認為可以趕走惡靈。

家家戶戶會在耶誕節前後開始購買煙火，並在跨年夜前幾天使用。

泰雅戈說，政府醫院收到164名準備跨年時被煙火炸傷的患者，甚至有人吞下鞭炮。（譯者：中央社樂羽嘉）
