台中1名陳姓女子今年初以驅蟑為名擺放樟腦丸，社區內王姓住戶因兒子罹患蠶豆症，請求陳女不要在社區空地擺放樟腦丸，沒想到陳女非但不僅越放越多，還嗆「蠶豆症是父母造孽！」讓王姓住戶日前氣得向她提告。

據報導，34歲陳女住在台中市龍井區一處集合式社區內，今年2月以清理住家及滅蟑為名，在社區公共空間大量放置樟腦丸，王姓住戶因兒子罹患蠶豆症，轉告陳女不要在社區公共區域擺放樟腦丸，不料陳女反而越擺越多，甚至在2戶交界處的水龍頭上懸掛一堆樟腦丸，王姓住戶只好請社區管委會及警方出面調解。

不料陳女竟在眾人面前指責「蠶豆症是父母造孽！」讓王姓住戶認為陳女斥責他及妻子德行不佳，導致因果報應到子孫身上，感到受辱，憤而提告，檢方依妨害名譽罪將陳女起訴。

中國醫藥大學附設醫院血液腫瘤科主任巫康熙表示，蠶豆症正確名稱是六磷酸葡萄糖去氫酵素缺乏症，由於遺傳基因的先天缺陷，無法正常地分解葡萄糖。罹患蠶豆症患者聞到樟腦丸、蠶豆或阿斯匹靈等含有氧化物的物質，可能引發黃疸、溶血、腎衰竭、休克等症狀。
