iPHONE 5C 似乎從現身以來從成為了其他廠商媒體酸民調侃的對象，嫌它不夠便宜，嫌它塑膠機身，嫌它賣的不夠好。唔，但即使在這樣的質疑之下，iPHONE 5C 仍然賣出了一定的成績，在英國的調查，有 80% 的 5S 用戶是從舊款 iPHONE 升級的，而 5C 則有將近一半的新用戶前一支手機是三星或是 LG，或許我們可以這樣看待，iPHONE 5S 的用戶大多是從舊款 iPHONE 升級上來的，而 5C 則是搶了 Android 手機（尤其是三星與LG）的一大份額。

在報告裡也寫道，5S 的銷量大約是 5C 的三倍，而 5C 用戶的每戶所得也低於 5S，使用者年齡平均為 38 歲，5S 使用者平均年齡則更加年輕，是 34 歲。
