義大利以壓倒性的優勢4比0擊敗俄羅斯，奪下聯邦盃冠軍，此為義大利隊史第四次在聯邦盃笑擁后冠。

主場迎敵的義大利，挾帶2比0優勢，由世界排名第七的Sara Errani替義大利拿下第4分，她只花了59分鐘就以兩個6-1擊敗剛克服癌症回到球場的Alisa Kleybanova。

這一勝義大利確定冠軍到手，「我們團結一致，這是一個了不起的團隊。」Errani賽後開心地表示，很高興自己這一週的表現，全隊為此都非常高興。

Kleybanova2011年被診斷出患有淋巴癌，接受治療後最近才回到球場，她說：「這是我復出後第一個紅土賽，我沒有任何壓力，我只是在比賽中盡我所能，但Sara表現真得很好。」

之後Roberta Vinci與Irina Khromacheva的單打取消，雙打部份Karin Knapp與Flavia Pennetta再以4-6、6-2、10-4擊敗Khromacheva和Margarita Gasparyan。

義大利在2006年首次拿下聯邦盃冠軍，2009年與2010年連莊，這次擊敗俄羅斯，也為2007年衛冕失利報了一箭之仇。
