Sony 第二財季智慧型手機銷量上漲，但相機、PC 業務走低

Sony 大力擴展旗下的智慧型手機產品線後收到了非常不錯的效果，在上一財季中，其銷量比去年同時期增長了 39.3%。但除此之外其它的業務表現不容樂觀，Sony 已經把年度利潤預期減少了 300 億日元，這要比之前提出的 500 億日元目標下降了 40%。

在攝像機、隨身機需求減少後，相機總銷量減少了 6.9%，整個影像部門的虧損額達到了 2,400 萬美元。不過與此同時，電視銷量卻實現了增長，雖說上季仍有 1.23 億美元的虧損，但重組、開支下降等舉措還是讓人看到了積極的訊號。至於影像感光元件和組件業務則一如既往地賺錢，當季營運收入達到了 1.22 億美元。

在 PlayStation 4 開賣前，遊戲部門交出了 800 萬美元虧損的成績單，Sony 認為這其中主要原因是由於 PlayStation Vita 的「戰略性降價」（Nintendo 也是啊）。另外，他們還表示這些虧損「抵消了部分」PlayStation 3 軟體銷量上漲所帶來的收益，而在過去三個月中，PlayStation 3 主機的銷量也達到了 200 萬台。有這樣的成績，也難怪 Sony 能保持遊戲部門的預期不變了。接下來即將登場的 PlayStation 4 被寄予了非常大的期望，Sony 希望它能快速盈利，此外他們對內容商店的期許也很高。
