新七大奇蹟城市票選　28城市角逐

【國際中心╱綜合外電報導】辦過「新七大奇蹟」和「新七大自然奇蹟」選舉的「新七大奇蹟」網站，發 起「新七大奇蹟城市」（New7Wonders Cities）選舉，本周公佈了28個決選城市名單。

遴舉從去年開始，有來自超過220國的1200多個城市候選，到本月初淘汰剩300多個城市，即每國一城市，另加得票最多的77個城市，再由聯合國教科文組織前總幹事馬約爾、著名伊拉克裔女建築師哈迪德等專家組成的小組，篩出28個決選城市，其中亞洲佔最多，有12個，其次是美洲7個，歐洲6個，非洲2個，加上澳洲的珀斯。台灣則沒有城市入圍。

組織創辦人、瑞士電影人韋伯（Bernard Weber）指出，入圍決選的28個城市反映出現代城市的多元化，他期望透過今次選舉，鼓勵大眾討論城市應該如何應對未來的各種挑戰，選出7個城市「反映出全球城市文化的成就和抱負」。

「新七大奇蹟」現已開放投票，28個城市將進行三階段淘汰，最後結果會在明年12月7日公佈。
