暴雪娛樂與傳奇影業宣布《魔獸世界》電影版預定2015年12月18日上映

　　由 Legendary Pictures 與 Atlas Entertainment 攜手，改編自 Blizzard 熱門線上遊戲《魔獸世界》的同名電影，今日由 Legendary Pictures 與 Blizzard 共同宣布，《魔獸世界》電影版將於 2015 年 12 月18日上映。　　


　　據先前報導指出柯林‧法洛與《不可能的任務4：鬼影行動》的寶拉‧巴頓將有機會擔任本片的主要角色消息之後，今日暴雪娛樂先於《魔獸世界》官方推特上首先宣佈了上映日期的消息之後，傳奇影業也在其官網正式宣佈，《魔獸世界》電影版將於 2015 年 12 月18日上映。　

　


　　《魔獸世界》關於改編的劇本有消息指出可能是阿薩斯為主角的三部曲，現在又有一說法是以《最後的守護者》作為藍本，描述黑暗之門戰役中，卡德加發跡成為聯盟遠征軍英雄之一的故事，不過都尚未得到證實，但可以確認的是將會延續遊戲中膾炙人口的劇情與世界觀搬上大螢幕。電影版已知由《血鑽石》編劇查爾斯‧李維特執筆劇本，《啟動原始碼》、《2009 月球漫遊》導演鄧肯執導，目前已知上映時程為 2015 年 12 月18日，預計於 2014 年一月開拍。
