《美國經濟》復甦增溫？領先指標升0.7% 優於預期

美國經濟諮商理事會(The Conference Board)19日公布8月份領先指標(LEI)優於預期，較前月上升0.7%至96.6，增幅高於彭博社調查預估的0.6%，意謂著經濟的復甦力道日益增溫。領先指標6、7月的增幅分別為0%與0.5%。

就業市況改善、股市上揚讓家庭財富逐漸增加，進而抵銷壓抑經濟成長的財政問題。經濟諮商理事會經濟學家Ken Goldstein指出，最新數據顯示近期的經濟擴張步伐日益有活力。

彭博社報導，Stone & McCarthy Research Associates經濟學家Kenneth Kim在領先指標數據公佈前表示，經濟有望在今(2013)年下半年加快成長；股市上揚提振了消費者支出，民眾主要將股市賺的錢拿來買車。

其它數據顯示，8月份同步指標上揚0.2%(前月增0.1%)至106.3；落後指標月增0.3%(前月減0.1%)至118.6。

汽車調研機構AutoData甫於9月公布，美國8月份新車銷售年率年增11%至1,609萬輛，優於分析師預估1,580萬輛，且是自2007年10月以來新高。以通用、豐田為首的美系、日系車廠，以及歐系的豪華車廠寶馬(BMW)與戴姆勒(Daimler AG)均有令人驚艷表現。
