【綜合報導】瑞士蘇黎世大學的研究團隊近日發表一篇報告，指出猩猩會計畫出遊，還會通知同伴，相信人類祖先也懂得這樣做。

研究團隊在印尼蘇門答臘研究15隻野生雄性猩猩，研究人員平均每一隻都花10天進行觀察，而每天觀察猩猩行為達10~12.5小時。研究人員發現，雄猩猩若想要進行超過1公里的旅程，會在前一天先計畫好，並大叫通知其他同伴。而通常追隨者都是母猩猩，敵對雄性則可避開。

此外，猩猩的通知不只一次，會多次「通報」，有時每次通知更長達4分鐘，研究人員相信人類祖先也曾經這樣做。
