半盲老農為孫子學費　睡果園10年

雲林斗六1名柚農擔心有宵小偷竊柚子，沒有收入來源可以供給2名幼孫讀書，10年來都睡在果園裡，當起「車床族」，看守賴以為生的柚子。

據報導，73歲的柚農劉招男，10多年前小兒子罹癌去世，留下一對不到3歲的兒女，劉招男和妻子考慮其他２個兒子有自己的家庭要照顧，因此全靠柚子收入養活祖孫4人。

劉招男說，「就怕文旦被偷，少了收入，沒錢給孫子讀書」，劉招男種柚至今已35個年頭，由於柚子質好價高，常遭宵小覬覦，劉招男不顧夏天蚊蟲叮咬，冬日寒風刺骨的辛苦，將床墊放在農用車上，中午帶便當，晚上洗晚澡後，全天候守在文旦園。有次回家洗個澡回來，農機就被宵小偷走，1個晚上損失好幾萬，因此風雨無阻，以果園為家。

劉昭男表示，「每一顆文旦就是兩個孫子的學費來源」，2名孫子分別上了國中、國小，假日小姐弟會到果園幫忙搬箱裝箱。即便多年前劉昭男在除草時，樹枝飛刺造成左眼全盲，但為了孫子的教育，再苦都要扛起重擔。
