台北市勞動力重建運用處指出，今年5月辦理6場母親節系列，推廣「按摩舒壓．鄰里關懷」視障按摩社區化活動受到熱烈迴響，將於9月份結合各區里辦公處，共同辦理8個場次中秋歡慶活動，包括信義區興隆里與五常里、士林區蘭興里和東山里、中正區龍興里、北投區石牌里與立農里以及南港區合成里。希望讓里民們在享受美食美景之餘，安排5位視障按摩師，提供每人10分鐘免費體驗視障按摩的服務，也增加視障按摩師的能見度與工作機會。
