中華隊9日痛擊中國，以黑馬之姿殺進2013年亞錦賽4強，10日17：45將挑戰本屆至今7戰全勝「大魔王」伊朗，贏家晉級冠軍戰，同時可獲得2014年西班牙馬德里世界盃（前世錦賽）門票。
近年伊朗擁有NBA球員Hamed Haddadi坐鎮，近3屆亞錦賽拿了2座冠軍，2011年在8強賽意外敗給約旦，最後讓地主中國重返榮耀。
伊朗今年來勢洶洶，前2階段預賽平均淨贏36分，雖然其中有4隊非一流強隊，還是看得出決心與穩定性，8強賽更是復仇心切，以94：50痛宰2年前令他們蒙羞的約旦。
Haddadi是2007年、2009年兩屆亞錦賽MVP，今年出賽7場，平均17.6分、8.6籃板，命中率62.2%。
不過中華隊戴維斯（Quincy Davis）表現不輸，平均14.9分、9.7籃板，命中率是更恐怖的73.7%，「我不會因為他們擁有NBA經驗就退縮，我只想盡自己本分。」
