涉莎車攻擊 新疆18人投案

大陸官方新華網今天(10日)報導，新疆莎車縣7月28日發生暴恐襲擊案件，造成37人死亡，另有59名所謂的「恐怖份子」遭警方擊斃，已經有18名嫌犯自首。
莎車攻擊案是新疆近幾個月來，一連串暴力攻擊的最新一起。這次事件造成近百人死亡，使得2009年烏魯木齊發生維吾爾人和漢人大規模衝突的暴亂事件以來，新疆的暴力死亡人數升高到大約200人。
新華網指出，這18名嫌犯是在警方施壓之下投案。警方先前發布嚴厲警告說，涉及莎車攻擊案的份子，必須立即向公安機關投案自首；拒不投案自首的，將依法從嚴懲處。
總部設在德國的世界維吾爾代表大會發言人迪里夏提(Dilxat Raxit)發表聲明說，這些自首的嫌犯，是在遭到安全部隊追捕之後，為了保命才投案。
北京當局指責，新疆維吾爾分離份子要為最近這一連串暴力攻擊負責；但是人權組織則是指控大陸政府，對新疆地區的文化和宗教鎮壓，助長了當地的動亂。
