炎熱的鬼月，來款應景的恐怖遊戲吧！除了惡靈古堡外，也有另一款以殭屍為主的遊戲《腐朽之都》，不過這裡沒有火辣的美少女，也不能亂槍掃射，只能靠冷靜來突破重圍，建造安全的地方。

《腐朽之都》(State of Decay)是一款結合了動作冒險與策略模擬，擁有開放式場景的高度自由化遊戲，也就是說，玩家需自行摸索遊戲玩法，當然更可以左右結局。

在《腐朽之都》中，玩家將扮演在這個殭屍橫行的世界末日中奮勇求生的人類，除了要善用手中的武器對抗數量眾多、速度極快且擁有驚人力量的不死殭屍之外，還必須找到並連同其他人類們，一同在危機四伏的環境中收集物資，來經營可以供所有人棲身的安全營地。

該遊戲在開放下載後，在短短48小時內銷售量就突破25萬，創下Xbox LIVE遊戲下載專區中，速度至今第二快的銷售紀錄。
