閱讀績優 頭份國中首獲磐石獎

（中央社記者管瑞平苗栗縣21日電）苗栗縣頭份國中獲教育部遴選國中組「閱讀磐石獎」；苗栗縣長劉政鴻今天接見校長及團隊，盼分享經驗作為領航閱讀學校。

教育部遴選閱讀績優學校，苗栗縣頭份國中以「領頭有份，珍愛閱讀」為主題，獲103年國中組「閱讀磐石獎」，獎勵獎金新台幣20萬元，是教育部自97年開辦「閱讀磐石獎」以來，苗栗縣首次有國中獲獎。

頭份國中校長林秋蟬今天率校內團隊在縣府接受苗栗縣長劉政鴻表揚。

林秋蟬指出，頭份國中於民國98年完成遷校，新校舍建築是以「圖書大樓」為校園中心，讓每個班級都能就近、方便借閱藏書，提升學生的閱讀率。

她說，閱讀教育需要導師和各科老師共同投入，不僅推晨讀、共讀，更成立教師閱讀社群，以身作則「愛閱讀」；此外，針對國中生喜好3C產品特質，校內也成立圖書資訊社團，並舉辦「旅行文學」、「苗栗好行大富翁」、「飲食文學主題書展」等多元主題活動，學生反應熱烈。

劉政鴻表示，頭份國中多年來扎根閱讀，朝向書香校園邁進，期盼學校分享推動閱讀經驗到各國中小，激勵更多學校落實閱讀教育。1030821
