1ed36ae3017ecea6d92519396c8368bf Dropbox 今天在官方部落格上宣佈，新版的桌面用戶端新增了 streaming sync 特性，稱對大型檔案的同步有明顯的速度提升，可達 1.25 倍 - 2 倍。

在 streaming sync 以前，Dropbox 的文件同步分成先上傳後下載兩個步驟，在其它用戶端下載文章之前，需保證整個文件都上傳到了 Dropbox 的雲端服務。而其 streaming sync 特性則可以把上傳和下載兩個步驟合到一起，把檔案以資料「串流」的方式透過其伺服器傳到其它設備。Dropbox 稱同步大型文件（16MB 以上）的速度可提升至 1.25 倍 - 2 倍。對比圖如下：

新桌面用戶端的新特性還包括：消息通知支援捲動功能表查看；可直接從功能表創建共用連結、以及接受共用資料夾的邀請。
