親切照護關懷癌末病患　美女護理師獲獎

兆如老人安養護中心副護理長曾薇庭，不僅長相美，更有顆美麗的愛心，她去年在養護中心照顧到1位89歲的沈爺爺，由於沈爺爺被診斷罹患胰臟癌第3期，且腫瘤已轉移，但其2位兒子分別在紐約與墨西哥當老師，因此她主動聯絡對方，告知病情，並協助對方將爺爺接回墨西哥住，與親人團聚，雖然爺爺今年初過世，但這樣的愛心也讓她獲頒為績優護理人員。
 
台北市衛生局今召開「國際護師節慶祝大會」，在2萬5千多位台北市護理人員中，選出140位績優護理人員，曾薇庭也是其中1位獲獎者，她說自己幼稚園時罹患氣喘，常每周進1次醫院治療，受惠於醫師和護理師有耐心的治療，讓她身體康復，她於是從國中畢業後就立志當護理師。（張博亭／台北報導）
