彭博報導，美國3月領先指標指數升幅創4個月來最大，意味歷經嚴冬後經濟擴張力道將增強。

美國經濟評議會（The Conference Board）今天公布，衡量未來3到6個月前景的領先經濟指數（LEI）攀升0.8%，延續2月揚升0.5%的勁道。彭博調查42名經濟師的預估中值為上揚0.7%。

勞動市場持續成長、消費者信心回升和需求增強，正在拉抬過去5年不斷清理資產負債表的家庭消費。展望未來，美國民眾必須要有更大的工資成長，才能讓近期有所起色的消費支出保持下去。

PNC金融服務集團（PNC Financial ServicesGroup Inc.）首席經濟師霍夫曼（Stuart Hoffman）報告出爐前受訪時說：「經過緩慢起步和疲弱的第1季，經濟動能愈來愈強，提升的空間肯定比走下坡還大。」
