太陽花學運10日下午5點30分開始退場，占領議場學生在議場宣讀人民議會意見書、草根論壇結論後，於晚間6點06分陸續步出議場。

在學生發言人江其翼、學運領袖陳為廷、林飛帆發言之後，學運學生手拿太陽花從議場大門陸續步出議場。陳為廷與林飛帆不搶學生鋒頭，排隊步出議場，走向濟南路。

陳為廷與林飛帆步出議場後，受到民眾掌聲歡迎、簇擁。等待議場內學生全部步出議場後，警方將進入議場內搜索，以防止有學生逗留在議場內。
