墨西哥石油服務公司詐騙 花旗集團2013淨利大減2.35億美元

因遭墨西哥石油服務公司Oceanografia設局詐騙，花旗集團(Citigroup)((US-C))周五修正了2013年度獲利。

花旗集團周五說，其墨西哥分行Banamex借款予Oceanografia公司，但該公司所說墨西哥國營石油公司Pemex欠其款項，係屬謊言。

該銀行於2月11日得知Oceanografia公司已被禁止再接墨西哥政府新合約，因而起疑。

根據花旗集團申報資料，Pemex公司很快證實，Oceanografia公司所言Pemex欠其款項係屬謊言。

這項詐騙案件，使得花旗集團2013年度稅後淨利大減2.35億美元，由1月申報的約139億美元下降至約137億。

花旗集團說，正與Pemex公司及墨西哥檢察長，追究「犯罪行為」。

花旗集團執行長Mike Corbat在發布的聲明中說，「那些犯下這項卑劣罪行的人及任何員工共犯，將必須負起責任。」
