外星生物是否存在一直都是個未解謎團，近日美國加州(California)有2名民眾在薩利納斯(Salinas)的農田，發現兩道神祕光束，並駕車朝著光束方向追逐，結果竟發現一大片約1200坪的神祕麥田圈(Crop circle)，此消息一出再度引起外星迷關注。

根據英國《每日郵報》(Daily Mail)報導，美國加州這2名民眾在當地時間去(2013)年12月29日清晨時，因為追逐神祕光束意外發現這片呈現圓形對稱狀的麥田圈。而發現麥田圈消息一傳出，即有攝影師搭乘直升機從高空拍攝，將麥田圈全貌透過鏡頭呈現。

影片中可看出，麥田圈的圖案極為複雜，方型與圓形交錯，有網友認為，此麥田圈的形狀看起來有點像古代的錢幣，也類似城廓，相當神祕。

據了解，麥田圈是在麥田或農田上，透過某種力量將農作物壓平，所呈現出來的幾何圖案。而一直以來也有人認為，麥田圈是外星人所為，或是外星生物搭乘的UFO在降落時所造成。
