中國大陸新疆自治區政府今天(16日)表示，新疆地區15日晚上發生暴亂，有14人遭警方擊斃，但也有2名警察喪生。

新疆自治區政府在官網上指出，警方在前往喀什疏附縣逮捕犯罪嫌疑犯時，突然遭到暴民以丟擲爆裂物和揮舞刀械攻擊。警方開槍射殺14人，但也有2名警察遭暴民攻擊而喪生。
