畢業一甲子 觀音國小同學會

〔自由時報記者薛翰駿／桃園報導〕畢業至今超過一甲子的觀音國小第四十五屆校友五十多人，昨齊聚母校，同屆的中研院院士廖運範也出席。

年過古稀的阿公、阿嬤們，都開心相聚，當年的老師也有三人到場。由於觀音位居偏鄉，工作機會少，他們大多到台北都會工作，在觀音國中代理校長退休的謝榮坤的奔走下，籌劃超過一年，才促成老同學再相聚。

同學們都說，廖運範能出席讓他們非常感動，代表他沒有忘記故鄉和同學。廖運範目前服務於林口長庚醫院，今年甫拿到歐洲肝臟學會終生成就獎，昨天同學會贈送「同學之光」的紀念盃給廖運範，希望鼓勵家鄉子弟，即使出身鄉下的孩子，只要肯打拚，也能成為一流的人才。
