【國際中心／綜合外電報導】美國佛羅里達州傳殘忍虐兒案，一名3歲男童麥克馬倫（Michael Lee McMullen）在祖母及繼父等三名成年人照顧時哭鬧，為了讓他安靜下來，大人們竟用大毯子把他層層包裹起來，變成小小木乃伊動彈不得，男童被綑長達4小時，送院後不治。

佛州利縣警方23日表示，馬倫19日送院後40分鐘證實不治，三名綑綁他的成年人，包括56歲祖母沃特金斯（Gale Watkins）、21歲繼父加里格斯（Douglas Garrigus）及祖母友人特雷納（Donella Trainor），被控誤殺及虐兒罪。

特雷納指當天麥克馬倫在發脾氣，為使小孩安靜下來午睡，家人一般都會用裹紮方法，於是拿來大毯子從頭到腳包住他，綑了六層之厚，再將末端打結，馬倫一開始不斷掙扎哭叫，哀求家人放了他，數小時後就沒有動靜，特雷納去查看時，發現他一動不動，全身汗濕，於是報警送醫。
