薇帕襲日24死 海岸防衛隊加入搜救

薇帕颱風(Typhoon Wipha)侵襲日本，重創東京以南的伊豆大島大島町，土石流造成嚴重災情。在罹難人數增至24人之際，由於尚有27人下落不明，海岸防衛隊今天(18日)已加入搜救，潛水員也在沿海進行搜索。

在此同時，軍隊、消防員和警察今天仍持續在陸上搜索，動用推土機鏟除掩沒房屋的大量泥土。

一名地方官員說，先前失蹤的2名小學學童中，已有1人的屍體已尋獲。但另一名在千葉失蹤的學童和1名男性則仍然下落不明。

根據日本時事通信社報導，東京都知事豬瀨直樹(Naoki Inose)17日前往探視救難人員時，特別呼籲他們竭盡所能，尋獲任何仍然存活的人。豬瀨表示，救援的72黃金小時即將結束，他期盼救難人員盡最大的努力救人。

根據日本放送協會(NHK)報導，日本首相安倍晉三預定在20日走訪伊豆大島，他在前往救難中心視察之前，將先行搭乘直升機查看災區。

根據報導，日本國家公安委員長兼防災大臣古屋圭司(Keiji Furuya)、以及防衛大臣小野寺五典(Itsunori Onodera)預料將在19日前往災區視察。
