台北市的車友注意了，為了有人騎單車過快意外，擬在河濱車道等實施逾25公里開罰

初步鎖定單車常走的路段，如仰德大道、河濱單車專用道、從士林、內湖等往風櫃嘴的山間路段等，派一組警員先持雷達測速槍鎖定違規單車騎士，距測速50公尺處還有另一組警力攔單車開單告發。
交通警察大隊副大隊長林基田說，將依據各道路規定的速限取締，有關河濱專用道，依法慢速車車速為25公里，待北市交通局在河濱設置速限標示，就可進行取締

2013年9月25日新聞：
台北市河濱自行車道，發生第一件騎士摔死的案例，一名涂姓男子，騎自行車經過內湖的"南湖右岸自行車道"時，因為路面鋪設了高達5公分的鐵板，來不及煞車而摔車，送醫後宣告不治。家屬心痛之餘，也認為施工單位，應該負起責任。......

個人覺得晚上視線不良河濱自行車道騎快車當然危險，但政府不檢討包商施工品質，反而歸咎於單車速度太快...結論卻變成要取締單車超速．
