【周佩萱╱綜合外電報導】還真的什麼都東西都會有人收集，英國南威爾斯一名78歲的退休木工理查瓊斯，費時50年周遊全球，收集各式各樣的釘子，目前已收藏超過3千顆釘子，瓊斯覺得釘子長得相當迷人，希望透過自己的收藏，改變大眾對釘子的看法。
 
瓊斯表示：「釘子是人類文明的展現，我收集的釘子，有些是來自古羅馬時代的，有些人說這不過只是釘子，但卻忽略了了解釘子背後的歷史」，瓊斯從1960年從事木工開始蒐集釘子，其中最短的僅有4公厘，最長的為75公分，他可以投入所有時間在釘子上面，也不會覺得厭煩，瓊斯相信還有更多釘子等著他去發掘。
