彰化九旬老婦落水　漂流二十公里尋獲已溺斃

彰化二水鄉一名九十多歲林姓老婦，平常拿的拐杖遺落在八堡圳旁，家人質疑已落水，緊急報警協尋，縣府消防局除通報農田水利會關閉水閘門，動員大批人力搜救，結果在離案發地約二十公里遠才尋獲，緊急送醫，不幸已溺斃。

彰化縣消防局表示，這起老婦溺水的意外，是十六號發生在二水鄉境內，一名疑似罹患有失智症的林姓老婦人，獨自外出後久久沒有返家，卻被附近民眾發現，老婦人平常拿的拐杖，置放在水流湍急的八堡圳旁，家人據報後緊急趕往確認，並質疑老婦人可能已發生落水意外，經緊急報警協尋，並由縣府消防局通報農田水利會，緊急關閉沿線的水閘門，並動員大批的人力進行搜救，初步卻毫無所獲，不料在下午，卻在離案發地點約有二十公里遠，屬於八堡圳支流下游的永靖鄉境內，發現載浮載沈的一名婦人，經消防人員趕抵搶救，打撈起時已經沒有生命跡象，經緊急送醫急救，還是回天乏術，經通報家人前往指認，確認是通報協尋的老婦無誤。

為何在民眾通報後，沿線只有關閉部份水閘門，導致老婦人漂流有一、二十公里遠，歷經四、五個小時才被尋獲；縣府消防局則表示，因為目前正逢二期水稻灌溉期，八堡圳與各支流幾乎是滿水位給水，才會造成水流湍急、流速快又急，已報請檢方襄驗，以查明老婦人真正落水原因以及死因。
